Mobilizing Growth, Nurturing Sustainability

Southwest Association of Vegetable Farmers (SWAVFs) is a multi-stakeholder platform designed to strengthen collaboration, innovation, and investment within the Horticultural value chains across the Southwest region of Nigeria.

SWAVFs brings together actors from government, private sector, farmer organizations, non governmental organizations, financial institutions, and development partners to co-create solutions that enhance productivity, improve market access, and promote inclusive agribusiness development within the Horticulture (vegetable) sector. This platform is structured around thematic working groups and state-level engagements to address practical constraints and unlock opportunities across the value chain.

With our headquarters in Abeokuta, Ogun State and active branches spread throughout the region, we exist to support, empower, and advocate for farmers and sellers in the vegetable value chain.

Our Objectives

  • Promoting safe, healthy, and eco-friendly agricultural practices.
  • Ensure sustainable and budget-conscious farming across Southwest Nigeria.
  • Advocate for farmer-friendly policies that protect investments and improve livelihoods.
  • Support training, innovation, and agribusiness development among our members.
  • Build a market-driven ecosystem that connects farmers directly with consumers and buyers.
